Barbour County Community Foundation Scholarhship Program
The Barbour County Community Foundation is most proud of the scholarships offered through the Foundation. The Foundation currently administers eleven scholarship funds. Students may apply for scholarships each spring. Information may be obtained through the Counselors Office at Philip Barbour High School or by contacting the Foundation.

Grant Program
The Barbour County Community Foundation continues to expand its grant program in order to build a better life for the citizens of Barbour County. The foundation focuses its yearly grant making in the areas of arts and culture, health and human services, education, public recreation or beautification and youth services.
Broaddus Hospital Scholarship
To help address the healthcare needs of Barbour County and to further the
educational opportunities of qualified individuals seeking careers in a healthcare field, the Broaddus Hospital Scholarship Fund has been established.

Barbour County Grant Program
To be eligible for a grant, an applicant must be a private, non-profit organization 501(c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code or they must be a public institution. The application on the program to be funded must be located in Barbour County. Grant applications are accepted each year from October 1st through
November 30st.

An independent committee will review the application(s) and make the final decision. Successful applicant(s) will be notified shortly after the decisions are made and a payment schedule will be developed.
