Barbour County Community Foundation Scholarhship Program

The Barbour County Community Foundation is most proud of the scholarships offered through the foundation. To date there are six scholarship funds and for the upcoming semester a total of $4500 has been awarded.

Grant Program

The Barbour County Community Foundation continues to expand its grant program in order to build a better life for the citizens of Barbour County.  The foundation focuses its yearly grant making in the areas of arts and culture, health and human services, education, public recreation or beautification and youth services.

To be eligible for a grant, an applicant must be a private, non-profit organization 501(c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code or they must be a public institution. The application on the program to be funded must be located in Barbour County.

An independent committee will review the application(s) and make the final decision. Successful applicant(s) will be notified shortly after the decisions are made and a payment schedule will be developed.
